Argentina Adventures Begin

The delicious Argentina adventures begin. Off to Argentina to savor in the flavors and bounty of their beautiful and vast country.

Setting off on a journey of this magnitude is not without months and months of research whether it be through various guide books, tons of online research and seeking out other traveler writers by visiting their informational blog sites.

Numerous hours watching YouTube videos on the various destinations, adventures and accommodations. Oh and let’s not forget the food. Argentina known for its Asado style barbecue will be a big part of this culinary quest.

We will of course be visiting several of Chef Francis Mallmann’s locations, 1884 in Mendoza and the Siete Fuegos experience at the posh Vines Resort and Spa! Mallmann is a world-renowned celebrated grill master and is known for his unique style of grilling around the world!

First stop is Buenos Aires, then off to Uruguay for a day trip. Our sojourn then takes is to the magnificent falls of Iguazu on the Argentina side. A must!

Then off to the expansive wine country of Mendoza, growing region of world famous Malbecs! Did I mention it was harvest time in Mendoza and the harvest festival Vendimia. Parades, festivites and wine, wine, wine.
